Description

Courage, le chien froussard (original version: Courage the Cowardly Dog) is an American animated series created by John R. Dilworth for broadcast on the Cartoon Network television network, initially between November 12, 1999 and November 22, 2002 in the United States.

The series follows the misadventures of an anthropomorphic dog named Courage, who lives with his two masters, Murielle and Eustace, a retired farm couple living in the "middle of Nowhere" (the fictional town of Nowhere, Kansas).

Courage and his masters are frequently thrown into bizarre and paranormal/supernatural misadventures. The show mixes elements of comedy-drama, science-fantasy and often drama.

The series originated as an animated show previously broadcast on Cartoon Network, created by Hanna-Barbera Studios president Fred Seibert on the animated program What a Cartoon! The series was positively received by critics and editors alike.
