Debuting in 1991, Tracker is one of the more unconventional members of the G.I. Joe team. His real name is Christopher R. Groen, from Arkansas, and he serves as a Navy SEAL, specializing in the development of underwater weapons. Known for his mastery of amphibious operations and reconnaissance, he can lead his teammates through jungles, swamps, and coastal regions where few soldiers would dare to venture.

Tracker is portrayed as a free spirit, often clashing with strict military discipline, but always ready to dive into the most dangerous missions. He first appeared on screen in the DiC G.I. Joe animated series (1991), where his independent streak and skills as a scout were highlighted.
