First appearing in 1928 in The House at Pooh Corner, Tigger is the endlessly energetic and cheerful friend of Winnie the Pooh. Bursting with enthusiasm and positivity, he’s always bouncing — both literally and figuratively — through life and the Hundred Acre Wood.
With his bright orange fur and black stripes, Tigger is famous for his springy tail and his unstoppable optimism. Loud, funny, and full of confidence, he proudly declares that “the wonderful thing about Tiggers is Tiggers are wonderful things!”
Despite his clumsy exuberance, Tigger has a warm heart and deep loyalty to his friends, especially Roo, his closest companion. Representing joy, curiosity, and fearless energy, Tigger remains one of the most beloved and iconic figures in children’s literature and animation.
