William V. Ianotti, better known as Pathfinder, hails from Key West, Florida, and holds the rank of Staff Sergeant (E-6) within G.I. Joe. A jungle assault and reconnaissance specialist, he made his animated debut in the episode “United We Stand”—where his calm under pressure and infiltration skills were key to thwarting a Cobra operation. Raised by a Korean War vet father, Pathfinder learned survival tactics in the wild Florida swamps long before military training—so much so, he began teaching survival techniques to his instructors. With unmatched stealth, speed, and determination, he embodies the scout spirit of G.I. Joe, always leading the charge through dangerous terrain.
