Moana, released in 2016, is an American animated musical adventure produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and directed by Ron Clements and John Musker.
Inspired by the cultures and traditions of Oceania, the film follows Moana, a courageous young girl who sets sail across the Pacific to save her island from a mysterious ecological threat.
Accompanied by the legendary demigod Maui, voiced by Dwayne Johnson, she encounters mythical creatures, dangerous pirates, and the powerful goddess Te Fiti.
