Demona is one of the most complex and fascinating antagonists in Gargoyles: Angels of the Night, Disney's cult series broadcast in the 90s. A former ally of Goliath, she belongs to the clan of gargoyles that protected Wyvern Castle in the Middle Ages. But her hatred of humans leads her to betray them, triggering the curse that petrifies her clan for a thousand years. Riddled with anger and guilt, she becomes a formidable enemy, driven by an unquenchable thirst for vengeance.

Over the centuries, Demona survives thanks to a pact with the sorcerer Macbeth, who makes her immortal and binds her fate to his. By night, she remains a gargoyle with majestic wings and blazing eyes, while by day, she becomes a human, forced to rub shoulders with those she despises. A manipulator and strategist, she repeatedly attempts to annihilate humanity, while desperately seeking to rally Goliath to her cause.
