Nightcrawler (1975): The Acrobat Mutant and Mystical Icon of the X-Men

Nightcrawler first appeared in 1975 in Giant-Size X-Men #1, published by Marvel Comics and created by Len Wein and Dave Cockrum. Introduced during the relaunch of the X-Men (1975), Kurt Wagner was part of a more internationally diverse team.

Recognizable by his blue skin, prehensile tail, and demonic appearance, Nightcrawler possesses the power of instant teleportation, accompanied by a distinctive visual effect.
